Dr. Wang Ning is a Professor and PhD Adviser of the Composition Department of China Conservatory and Consultant to the Chinese Orchestra of British Columbia in Canada. Well versed in musical composition, he has developed a profound philosophy as well as a unique style and shown a deep concern for society and the fate of mankind.
Dr. Wang’s works cover a wide range of subjects and genres. Focusing on individuality while combining Western techniques and traditional Chinese culture, he has created more than ten works in the form of folk epic opera, symphony, concerto, folk orchestra, chamber music, electronic music, and TV series music, which won him a number of awards.
